IBPS RRB Clerk Exam Date, Analysis and Exam Pattern:


IBPS RRB Preliminary Exam Pattern:

You all know that there will be a Preliminary Examination and Main Examination for both the Officer Scale I, II, III and Office Assistant Posts. And, eligible candidates should undergo the IBPS Prelims exam. It’s an objective type exam, which consists of questions from various subjects include Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and Numerical Ability. 

To provide convenience to the candidates, the question will be set in both English and Hindi Languages. There will be 40 questions from each subject and yes, negative marking of 0.25 will be there for each wrong answer. Hence, the candidates are advised to read the topics mentioned in the IBPS RRB Syllabus before the exam. IBPS RRB Main Exam Pattern:

The main exam for Office Assistant consists of various subjects includes Reasoning, Numerical Ability, General Awareness, English, Hindi, and computer knowledge. This is also an objective type of exam and each section consists of 40 questions for a total of 200 marks. The time duration will be 2 hours.

For Officer Scale – II (Specialist Officer Cadre), the subjects will be like Reasoning, Quants, Data Interpretation, Financial Awareness, English, Hindi, Computer Knowledge, and Professional Knowledge. The total number of questions for this exam is 240 and the total marks are of 200. The time duration to complete this exam is 2 hours 30 minutes of composite time.
