Best Alternative Exams for JEE MAIN 2019! [Definitive Guide]

Although IIT is a dream of every science student but of course it isn’t possible for everyone to crack JEE Main 2019. And it’s completely okay if you cannot do it, as not every successful person is an IITian.

Airtel CEO- not an IITian,
Nokia CEO- not an IITian,
Microsoft CEO- Not an IITian.

Don’t be disappointed if you couldn’t get through it.

Having faith in your own self is a must. Life doesn’t end here.

BITS (Birla Institute of Technology) Pilani is a very good option for which you will have to crack BITSAT 2019. You will have to cover the entire syllabus of class 11th and 12th thoroughly to get through BITSAT.

The best part is that only your BITSAT score will be considered for your admission to BITS Pilani.
You can even try in Jaypee Institute of Noida or SRM (Sri Ramaswami Memorial) University, VIT (Vellore Institute of Technology) University or Manipal University.

They’re all very good universities which give you good placements.

The best-known state universities are College of Engineering, Anna University, Cochin University of Science & Technology (CUSAT), Nirma Institute of Technology, Faculty of Tech & Engineering, MS University. You can give a try to these.

However, if you don’t wish to get into any college except for IIT or NIT then also you have got an opportunity to drop a year as you are given a golden chance of three attempts to get through JEE Mains.

Be more focused and sincere i.e. plan strategically and realistically instead of going overboard with unrealistic preparation, set your time table so that you are kept motivated, build concepts rather than learning to be able to solve any application based questions, make notes of important concepts to go through them at the last minute easily, solve sample papers to opt for calculations that save time.

Moreover, you can also shift your stream if you no longer wish to study science. There is no harm in trying your luck in IPM exam which is for IIM Indore integrated five-year course BBA + MBA and gives you placements equal to those of the IITians.

You may also give NEST exam (National Entrance Screening Test) for admission into the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar and the Center for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CBS), Mumbai.

Various other non-engineering options are also available. Commerce is picked up by a lot of people due to its increasing scope.

Try your hands at CA (Chattered Accountants) or CS (Company Secretary) along with Bachelor of Commerce from a good college.

Even if you are unable to get through some good college in graduation, you can always keep a higher aim for post-graduation. Life is full of chances!

You can prepare for CAT (Common Admission tests) for admission to post graduate management programs, MAT (Management Aptitude Test) for admission to MBA and allied programs, GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) for post graduate engineering admissions and also screening for entry-level engineering jobs, IELTS (International English Language Testing System) which is given to assess English language proficiency of non-native English speakers for emigration to outside or inside United Kingdoms, New Zealand, Australia or Canada or you can also give GRE (Graduate Record Examinations) exam for admissions to masters and doctoral programs in various universities.

Don’t give up! Try your level best, believe in yourself and you will surely succeed. Always remember, SKY IS THE LIMIT
